Preschool Ministry Service Director

EastLake Church (Chula Vista, CA)

EastLake Church in Chula Vista is seeking an individual to work part-time (10-15 hours per week) in the weekend Preschool Ministry. This individual will work with the Preschool Pastor in preparing curriculum and rooms for the services on Sunday. In addition the individual will assist the Preschool Pastor in overseeing the volunteers in 3-5 classrooms during services on Sunday. 

The ideal candidate has experience working with birth-preschool age children whether it’s through education, work experience or even having preschool age kids in his/her own family. It’s a great job for someone looking for flexibility in their schedule! 

Primary Job Duties and Objectives 

1. Manage assigned rooms and volunteers during Sunday Worship Services 

2. Assist with preparing curriculum for Birth-Preschool 

3. Set up and tear down the rooms in Birth-Preschool 

4. Assist with recruiting, training and caring for volunteers 

6. Prepare the necessary elements and supplies for weekly classes.
