Hours:  40 hours

General Functions: 

The worship leader executes excellence in team building, programming, and spending related to worship aspects in programming. Strong leader who can recruit, develop, and care for volunteers

• Strong confident, worship leader & vocalist
• Strong creative collaborator 
• Ability to communicate essential musical details to vocalists and all instruments and function as music director for rehearsals, as needed
• Prior experience leading worship
• Able to perform high quality, detailed work minimum supervision within assigned deadlines
• Loves collaboration as a team
• Teachable,coachable, adaptable

Supervision Received:  

Reports directly to the Creative Arts Pastor. As well as regular input from the Lead Pastor of Community Church Movement. Employee seeks authorization for broad scope of tasks.

Scope & Dimensions: 

Interacts with all staff and volunteers to create relevant, fun and engaging worship experience. Love Jesus and call themselves Christ-followers. As well as the following:

• Embrace a high biblical standard of personal conduct and lifestyle. 
• Agree to and adhere to the church's statement of faith and leadership commitment. 
• Attend Eastlake Church 

Essential Responsibilities:

• Shape and execute the adult worship weekend experience at a high level in partnership with the Eastlake Worship staff. 
• Serve as worship leader for weekend services and gatherings as needed. 
• Lead worship for special events (Nights of Worship, prayer gatherings, Thursday night church, etc) as needed. 
• Serve volunteer ministry teams related to the weekend worship experience by recruiting, developing, and caring for volunteer teams. 
• Serve the volunteer worship team by providing leadership, timely communication, mentorship, and relationships to this team. Other responsibilities include weekly preparation (lyrics, vocal), preparing weekly vocal notes, communicating service details, scheduling worship volunteers through Planning Center Online, leading rehearsals,, and finalizing weekly setlists, as needed.

Experience And Educational Requirements:

1. Must be able to read and write music, transpose music, solid understanding of chord charts.
2. Media Skills: Computer- Planning Center Online, Excel, ProPresentor, Abelton familiarity, Logic 
3. Experience leading in a larger church environment. 

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Additional duties as assigned.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

1. Mobile – In and out of office to ensure task completion
2. Church staff is required to abide by the Cultural Expectations (tithe, attendance, conduct, etc.)
