Sean served 15 years in the Navy and along with his wife, Annette, raised three healthy boys. Although they experienced the ups and downs of a military career and parenting, nothing prepared them for when they learned that one of their sons was diagnosed with autism. Their expectations and goals quickly shifted as they realized that raising a child with special needs meant their lives would change. Through this process they’ve learned the importance of building a strong community who they can lean on and turn to for support.
