Additional Information

Purpose: Helping people experience the love of Jesus through our acts of service.

  • Our visit will be a source of encouragement to the local Pastor/ Director, the teachers and staff , the children they serve, as well as the surrounding community.
  • We have funds set aside from our Cannonball Wave of Compassion that will pay for a special project on the grounds. We are still in the process of determining what exactly our projects will be.
  • We will definitely be planning some special activities for the children.

Anticipated Travel Dates:

Uganda: Approximately $3500

  • Travel expenses must be paid in full prior to departure.
  • Each individual is responsible for his or her own travel expenses. You have permission to fundraise to offset the costs. Our Portal webpage will provide you with a link that you can email to your friends and family inviting them to donate toward your trip.

Team Building and Preparation for the trip: Once we have established the 2019 team, we will set a meeting schedule. Team members are invited to participate in a 6-week growth group together prior to the trip.

Passport: You will need a current passport that does not expire before October of 2019.

Shots: You will be responsible to have your shots up to date and proof of a current yellow fever vaccination. We also suggest that you bring along your own personal supply of malaria medication.

Uganda Safari: After spending time at HCCP, we will de-compress, enjoy the beauty of Africa and relax before the long flight home at a local safari.
